Safe travels Quad Killer - Exit interview with Silent Jan

Silent Jan, Quad Killer or Jan is leaving our little sitcom. He started as a junior cast member and became a star. He has won many junior races and traveled across North America racing. Silent Jan sits quietly in the pack but is always there at the end turning the screws. I vividly remember a cold forging ride coming back from Higbee over the three sisters (climbs in the BoCoMo with a little bite). Dziewa was off the front. BH and I were trading pulls trying to chase him down with others in tow before the final climb. On the final climb Silent Jan bolted around. Then it happened. BH made the noise , a funny little grunt of a blown gasket. Silent Jan made BH make the noise and I changed his name to Mid-West Quad Killer. After the ride he was probably off to play basketball and lift weights. Fish states he is the Jens Voigt of the junior race teams he was part of. Quad Killer would be covered with road rash and reel in breaks relentlessly for teammates to take the win and quietly gin after and never complain. Watching him mature has been great. After one of his first dates he was suffering the grilling of the Sitcom and simply replied "Girls talk a lot." No one asked another question. Quad Killer we wish you safe travels and great adventures but if you ever want to come back to our rolling sitcom we are saving a place for you.
