Feeling far away at home.

BH would not loan me his aero helmet so I stayed home from the races this weekend. No worries, trails were in great shape, and I wanted to get that feeling of riding someplace new. I started out at RockBridge, then made my way to Three Creeks. Gravel lead me to trails I have ridden intermittently in Mark Twain National Forest. The trails were rustic but mostly ridable. I was lost at several points and lucky the Englewood Hustlers did not find me. By the time I was heading back through Three Creeks and Rock Bridge again I was seeing stars. Best rolled up behind me while I was dreaming of food and water. I probably only grunted about my other project of the weekend. Dutch oven lasagna from the grill. I finished about half of this when I got home.

Sounds like a great day.

Isn't that chair sorta weird? It's been just sitting out in the woods for years now.

I have still yet to see anyone sitting in it. (that's probably a good thing. He would probably be playing the banjo.)
