From Castlewood to Gilbert

I had to bribe Double Shot with breakfast for a ride to Castlewood (if you can give me a lift here, breakfast and part of the gas money is yours. drop me a line). Double Shot drives like this guy, and listens to techno for motivation. So we arrived in time. Five minutes before the start, while chatting with another racer in the parking lot, I notice the group rolling away. "Huh I think that is our race." My watch had the race starting 5 minutes early, but I am always a day late and a dollar short. I rolled out after the pack which was really nice because I was not riding in traffic and could just enjoy the trail. The trail was perfect with climbs, rolling single track, fast flat open sections, technical root sections. I was having a great time riding and the laps were ticking by. Missing the start did not impact my placing and made for a much more relaxed race, more like a ride. This is my new strategy. Ride not race.

At home I got picked up by Fish for a trip to JimmyLand for a few days of gravel road exploration, floating, ripping lips and laughing.
No telling what you find if you break into a cabin on Shake Rag Hollow.
Someone please explain: What kind of "disaster/emergency" needs this? No, this is not a picture of Arkansas aero helmets but a picture of my favorite cereal in the back ground - Fruity Hoops.
