I was excited to climb the
Stelvio because their is monument to Fausto Coppi who our Catahoula is named after.
The climb was a long.
At the top there is a famous little stand where a man in a Bavarian hat and lederhose is grilling and selling meat of unknown origin in tube form in a bun with hardy course mustard and sauerkraut. I had one in honor of my Champion of Champions, Fausto the Catahoula.
