Recently I found something peculiar while cleaning a couch. The couch has been in my family since before I was born, and I have childhood memories of sleeping on this couch, watching my dad nap on it. It was always a center piece of our living room. According to family stories, I pissed on this couch within 5 minutes of getting home from the hospital. This summer my mom offered it to me, and how could I say no? It is a Kermit-green beast of a couch. As it was moved in, all the cushions were removed, and it was cleaned. But I recently found a helmet-load of acorns-- not one or two but an upside-down helmet load. Someone suggested squirrels in the attic caching nuts. No squirrels. Plus, Mish would have had a feast because she sleeps on the couch. Practical joke from friends? They deny it, although I still have my suspicions. Someone suggested Chula did it and is not fessing up just to "get in my head." Whoever or whatever put the acorns in the couch has got in my head. Any ideas?
In other news, dirtbiking is fun and trails are frozen.
