Autopsy bike drop.

Best is a good guy because I threw his bike off the back of my car, and he did not rip my head off. Mike's Pivot is prized like his FJ or house. Tossing his bike is like I walked into his house, kicked his dog, then dropped a deuce on his carpet. He shrugged off his ground down bar and bar-end nonchalantly saying, "It may be good because the trails may suck and now I might not have to race." Wracked with guilt and feeling hollow inside, I started calling friends in Springpatch for hookups. Butteafuco came through. I owe him my first born child. Best got rolling again and made it to the race in the nick of time to challenge for the hole shot.Best and Shot were dominating the solo 6 and drying the course out for me. I went last on The Ponder, Brixey and Verts team. I was the outcast of the heavily inked team of former pro flatlanders and vert riders because I am pro at nothing. Ponder suffered some bad luck and ended up walking almost an entire lap after double flatting. I was relieved because I had longer to chill and wait for the trails to dry. Thanks Ponder. I cruised around the mostly traffic-free course with a grin on my face.
I need to air my descriptions of riding spots, I like them all (rough and slow, fast and flowy, hilly or flat, bumpy and ugly, urban and back country) because they are all better than working, and it allows me to forget about most other things, kinda like mediating but not sedentary. With that, I had fun picking lines through the twisty, rocky course and the occasional two wheel drift around a corner. It was one of those courses no matter how many times you went around there was always a corner or something you forgot, and wham-- off the trail bouncing into trees. The well organized and supported event was worth the trip.

You wrote it, I read it. (Just letting you know). Sorry about the autopsy. I guess it could have been worse.
