Glasgow Mafia (GM) had never ridden at Trenton, so he wanted to team up for Rapture In Misery (RIM). GM always brings his A game and takes competition seriously. I was concerned my laid back racin disposition and lack of ability to dig deep would let him down. He eased my worries with "Just ride the trail like you normally would. I will make sure you have a clean shot at the trail." OK. He wasn't bluffing and was leading into the woods and out of the woods. I had an open trail but was worried about being the weakest link of the Columbia Steamers. GM gave me a high five and said "Just roll like normal." OK. The fast, technical, twisty, up, down, open or wooded trails were a little greasy but improved through the day. Great event and great trails.
The t-shirt is a great fabric, fit and color. You can never go wrong with black. It says "Ecstatic Exhaustion" on the front. 'Ecstatic' is ecstasy or rapture. 'Exhaustion' is fatigue, physically spent. OK, but now the connotations are starting to worry me. Then notice the back says RIM and has a little blood dripping from the 'I.' What does this say to you?

Clearly you held your own and turned in some steller lap times. I too am concerned about the definition of Rapture now. Humm...
