Self Medication

I probably have this. My parents medicated with exercise and activity. They patiently told me to see how fast I could run around the block, and my dad would have me cleaning jets on motor cycle carbarators to keep me occupied. I learned to stay active to cope. It helps when I need to work lots and not sleep (read graduate school and being a grownup). At some point in my life, cycling took over (like this guy @ minute 1:00-1:15 but without racing success). So with a few days off, I started Saturday like most Saturdays with coffee, pancakes, friends and a bike ride. However, the bike is loaded with gear for several days. My idea is to combine some of my favorite things: exploring gravel roads and camping. I have an idea of where I will end up but not sure when or even if I will end up there or anywhere. If you want immediate updates, you can call my cell phone. Don't try to track my progress via the GPS chip in my head because I did this to avoid the feds.

Oh man, you're my hero! Have fun, find some peace, and don't get mistaken for a deer.
