A few years ago I initiated a
no soggy bottom rule: if it is raining or going to rain do not leave for a ride. Historically the more rain,
snow, wind, sleet or ice the better. Morphing into a
lazy old man I am not willing to spend more time working on bikes than riding them. I pulled the plug on another
race. I had a lift, thanks
DB, but 9 hours in the car to ride 3.5 hours in the rain then rebuild my bike? I think not. I hit up trails close to home between rain showers.

After the ride I sampled my new favorite drink.
Absinthe. The smooth anise flavored, slightly sweet, mild alcohol flavored sipping beverage is divine. I am a light weight and was
intimidated of drinking it but the buzz was smooth and pleasant. Like napping under a blanket on a rainy spring evening in a hammock.

I must try this new beverage of yours. Maybe was it down with some Fowler Creek Honey Wheat I just tapped.
I have never seen an alligator snapping turtle on land like that.
absinthe is cool.
