I will tell you about crazy Jamaican drinks. I will leave out Red Stripe and Guinness because those are Jamaica's water. However, I am still confused how Guinness can only cost 10 cents more than Red Stripe.A - Zion Peanut Irish Moss and Soy. This was a thick drink with a chunk when you least expected it. Just when you thought it was safe, a raisin-sized glob would slide down your gullet before you could gag or spit it out. It you have ever had satay, this would be like drinking the sauce. No alcohol, so you are only left with a feeling of nausea and the thought "Why did I drink that?"
B - Stones Green Ginger Wine. I was anticipating a light wine drink but it was syrupy. The heaviness and overwhelming sweetness followed by a ginger finish made it the perfect after dinner sipping wine. After the initial shock, this was a mighty fine drink with an alcohol content of around 16% for a nice buzz.
C -Magnum. The label states its contents include "Vigorton" (whatever that is), had a couple in a romantic pose, topped off with a $ sign on the cap. How could I pass it up? This was a thick sweet drink with hints of cough syrup and tubular glue. Does it keep lead in the pencil? Does it keep you from shootin pool with a rope??? Keep guessing. People around the world have all sorts of strange things for keeping men uhh, err...active. In Guatemala it was V8 juice, in Italy it was hot peppers. U.S. has a little blue pill and Jamaica has Magnum. I started asking people about its powers and all were eager to profess its effectiveness and not just for men. 16% alcohol and a damn smooth drink.
**Note I made this his code name before I knew he had a drink named after him.

D - Heat. It was a penny pincher's version of Magnum. Nothing says cheap date like a bottle of Heat. 16% alcohol and no Vigorton -- buy Magnum.
E - Dread's homemade carrot ginger juice. This was the perfect mix of sweet carrots with a sharp tang of ginger to follow. This was hands down the best drink I have had in the last year.

I'll take a homemade double.
It's all clear now...your obsession about our drink of choice on the ride today. My advice is to steer clear of that island monkey water and stick to something like this: Bushmills
