PineRidge Derby

After two weeks of just riding to and from work, I was bored. So I jumped right back into the frying pan on Saturday.Butthead and Fish were killing me with intervals at the cross course followed by a gravel road ride with the addition of nine-pound-ten- ounce-Little-Baby-USA (who seems to have been on a steady diet of video games and reminds me of Freeman when he would short circuit and start blabbering about the Cubans in prison). I had to stop and eat sheet cake just to make it home.

The next day was the PineRidge Derby and the largest group of people on mountain bikes I have seen in a long time other than at races. We were greeted with some mighty fine trails thanks to IMBA and others. Mike Best did his Beck (minute 1:58) imitation the day before and cleared the leaves off the trail via leaf blower, and it made all the difference. Oz went noodling just to prove he could ride with a frozen paw, for full details go here.Go build some trails.
