How to avoid an ECB intervention???

Hope this post helps me avoid an ECB "intervention." I made it through a great work week with only moderate problems. It continues to amaze me that I even have a paying job and one that I like. Friday night once again had me traveling to Moberly with old friends to ride useless wooden toys, and the conversation easily drifted from conspiracy to planning our trip to skatopia. I even got hooked up with a new board and wheels.

Saturday was once again a trip this time with Fish to Bubba under the lights. I tried to put on my big boy pants and, as soon as the ink dried on my registration for the A's, everyone was like, "We were just kidding you should of done the B's." Thanks for that kick to the crouch. The course was like fishing with crank bait. You would cast out, reel it in, then turn around and cast out again. And we had to run over this stair/tower thing that is a green monster in my book. Then we had to ride through sand pits. To top it all off, the race started at 8:30 p.m. Normally, I only get my heart rate up for 5 minutes at this time of day then promptly go to sleep. So the cards were stacked against me, and I just did not want to get lapped. I got lapped on the last lap, but I was grateful because I did not have to roll around the course again. It was a great time, and I loved every minute of it.
Sunday I was sore, but how could I pass up riding Binder with friends? It was a great day indeed with our own little Midwest shore obstacles and near perfect temps.

So ECB, please do not start an intervention. My life is just grand with traveling, friends and fun adventures.

Just be glad you don't live in the same town as ECB.

Take your party hat and an old car when going to southern ohio. Looks like they hold time hostage over there. I also heard they have Ray Bolger's ashes mixed into that bowl.
