I am a product of the 80's. Influenced by
this,
this,
this,
this and
this. So when I was tipped off that
Henry Rollins was making a trip to the
BoCoMo I dusted off my old
albums that have been relegated to the bike room/basement dreaming of an autograph. Then the time rolled around to go and cookies and pot pie kept me home. I missed insightful political and social comment but sometimes it may be better to not see how your
heroes end up.

Holy shit
Damaged rocked my world in the summer of 1988 when I picked it up used at Streetside down here.
That's the same summer I started listening to Saccharine Trust, Husker, and the list goes one.
Oh, and If'n, by fIREHOSE truly change my life.
Damn those were the halcyon days my brother.
"firehose" used to be the security call-off for my house in case of a false alarm. when I would tell it to the security personnel they would always ask, "is your family in the fire department?" and I would be like, "no brave captain the lieutenant becomes casualty."
Hope you are are real cozy-like up there in your little fortress this weekend. Count the silverware and rolls of toilet paper after they leave!
