Bottoms up and rubber side down its the weekend.

I am a sucker for weird candy. This week I went to hear a speaker and filled my pockets with these treats from China.
I think you can tell a lot about a culture from their candy. This is a little shortbread gem filled with pineapple jelly.The label on this one read "Haw Flakes". They were like Neccos that tasted a little like fruit roll-up, or at least what I remember what they tasted like when I was 10, and a lot like Haw.This is the Chinese equivalent of Chick-o-Stick or so I am told because I am scared to eat anything called Chick-o-stick.So what does this tell me about the Chinese? They are not addicted to high fructose corn syrup.
This is why BoCoMo sucks. Five minutes from mi casa.....
